When I do hypotheses, on microsoft word i need some different symbols, like the little A and the d with the line above it. I looked on the symbols, but couldnt find them.
Is there a place where i can find the codes for these stats symbols?
Captain Black is leading you the right way, if anything the symbol should be in the equation editor, to find it go to Insert-Object_Microsoft Editor. If it still isn't in thier you may eather need to find any alternate way of showing the meaning of the symbol or maybe upgrade to a newer Microsoft Office Tools, which includes Word, Excell, Powerpoint, and Outlook along with some other things.
Equation editor has been a part of word since at least Word6 (and probably Word2, but I never used that so can't say), if it is not visible when you select: Insert - Object - Microsoft Equation Edit, then it does not show up there you can try: Tools-Templates/Add-ins to install it or you may need to run setup again. But it should be there somewhere.
