I'm getting an error message with this code:

I've narrowed it down to line 6, with the following error message: "Missing $ inserted$ ... Help?

I've narrowed it down to line 6, with the following error message: "Missing $ inserted$ ... Help?

i don't think we use $ signs for anything here. plus we use [tex] [/tex] tags as opposed to \[ \] tags

are you using LaTeX code in some other application?

You should consider using TeXaide when creating a LaTeX object this size.
