    Ugly diagram

    I posting this question in a recent thread but I thought I'd back it up here. Here's the pdf. Look at diagram (1.2) at the bottom of the first page. How do you code the diagram in LaTeX?

    One of my reference books mentions a commutative diagram package called amscd, for what it's worth. I don't do usenet any more, but you could probably get a prompt and helpful reply there in one of the TeX groups.

    There are various drawing packages available. Tikz seems popular.
