how to raise something to multiple exponents
I'm trying to figure out how to write

$e^lnx^2$

but the whole lnx^2 is the exponent

If you have more than one character in an exponent the you must use {}.
[TEX] e^{\ln(x^2)} [/TEX] gives $e^{ln(x^2)}$.

Whereas, without the {} you get $e^ln(x^2)$ .
