    LaTeX and language

When I write "\usepackage[romanian]{babel}" in a .tex file, system gives the followings message (no errors, just warnings):
Package babel warning: No hyphenation patterns were loaded for language 'Romanian'. I will use the patterns loaded for \language=0 instead.
Also I downloaded from internet "romanianTeX" directory which includes six files. How can I use them?
Please advise me on these things.

Can I install "RomanianTeX" if I use MiKTeX? Or it is good for LaTeX only? The "readme" file mentions something about LaTeX, LaTeX2e....

LaTeX needs to be told that you want to use Romanian as your language for hyphenation and you do this in the way described at Using a new language with Babel.
I suspect that the romanian files are already there so nothing needs installing. There should be a couple of romanian files in yourpath/tex/generic/babel.
