symbol for "unequal"

Couldn't find symbol for "unequal," as in a unequal b, in the tutrial. ???? (equal sign with slash through it)

a \neq b gives

Or, more generally, you can do \not=. The \not introduces a slash through the next symbol. For example: A\not\subset B.
