Mutliple equation Case

i'm a new user for wordpress.com

and i was type the following inside my wordpress.com without any result come out.

2. I don't know anything about WordPress. But the version of LaTeX used in this forum requires you to use "aligned" instead of "align" for the name of the environment that aligns equations. Maybe WordPress uses the same system?

$latex x=b+c\\ \phantom{x}=d+e$

but that won't work here, also as sugested above:

\begin{aligned}x&=b+c\\ &= d+e \end{aligned}

does work in wordpress, and here:

\begin{aligned}x&=b+c\\ &= d+e \end{aligned}
