Thread: Creating rounded images

Hi all,

For a statistics class, I would like to make my slides more appealing to the students by including photographic materials. I am using the beamer package to create the slides.

Is there any way to "automatically" give the included photos rounded corners? (That would save me the trouble of having to edit each image using a photo editor like Gimp)

Maybe ImageMagick's convert has an option for this, -vignette perhaps. convert has, many, many options, the problem being to figure out what option does what and how the paramters are to be interpreted...

Or you might try to write a script for The Gimp, or use the Python Imaging Library (PIL) to write a python script that does this image-corner rounding business for you.
