Thread: Texmaker

I am trying to figure out how to use texmaker and under the help menu there is a tutorial.

The tutorial tells me nothing, and from what I can tell is out of date.

All I want to know is: How do I input a LaTeX command if I am not already doing it correctly.
And how do I create a PDF.

why don't you download MiKTeX and its integrated TexWorks ? (under Windows)

It's really intuitive and kept simple for a standard LaTeX/PDF output, and you can check out samples shipped with the distribution to get started.
