1. ## Some Latex questions (captions and Maple)

How do you caption individual images within this kind of thing...

\begin{figure}[h]
\begin{center} $\begin{array} {cc} \includegraphics[width=7cm]{file1} \includegraphics[width=7cm]{file2} \end{array}$
\end{center}
\caption{Caption for WHOLE picture}\label{label}
\end{figure}

This produces 2 images side by side but I don't know how to caption each image.

Next question.
I'm having trouble putting my Maple code into latex.
Anyone know a good way to do this?

EDIT: Might have found a way to do first part. I need to download the subfig package apparently.

2. Ok I got the first part working using this code.

\begin{figure}[h]
\begin{center} $\begin{array} {cc} \subfloat[][subcaption1]{\label{fig:fig1}\includegraphics[width=7cm]{file1}} \subfloat[][subcaption2]{\label{fig:fig2}\includegraphics[width=7cm]{file2}} \end{array}$
\end{center}
\caption{Caption}\label{label}
\end{figure}

Now my question is how to I avoid having a letter before each subcaption.

Like the first picture will be captioned... a) picture. How would I get rid of the a)?
