    Reducing to single power

    Please show me how to reduce the following expression to a single power:[tex] \overline(\sqrt)^6 \frac{3}{8}\underline\frac{1}{4}[tex]

    It would help if you say in words what you are trying to write.

    Is it \sqrt[6]{\frac{\frac{3}{8}}{\frac{1}{4}}}?

    Or \frac{\sqrt[6]{\frac{3}{8}}}{\frac{1}{4}}?
