    Using Tex in the math help forum

    Hi all. I appologize as I am sure this has already been asked. I am new to the math help forum but I am fluent in LaTex. How do compile code so that it displays in my posts?

    Any and all help is appreciated.

    Here is an example:
    [tex]\sum\limits_{k = 1}^\infty {\frac{{\cos \left( {\pi k} \right)}}{{k^2 }}} [/tex] gives \sum\limits_{k = 1}^\infty  {\frac{{\cos \left( {\pi k} \right)}}{{k^2 }}}

    The \Sigma on the toolbar is a shortcut to [tex] [/tex] brackets.
