1. ## Hyperbola doubt?

Reduce the equation $9x^2-4y^2-36x+16y-16=0$ into standard form and identify weather the hyperbola is on the x axis (opens from the left and right) or the y axis (opens up and down).

Attempt:
I have reduced it into
$\frac{(x-2)^2}{4}-\frac{(y-2)^2}{9}=1$

& I guess it opens on the x axis.

Am I correct?
