I know WHY a triangle is similar to another, I just have trouble presenting it on tests as a formal solution.
Can someone provide a full, formal solution when proving that each of the following triangles are similar? (disregard the crappy scale of my drawings)
2. Along with proving they're similar, find the value of the variable.
For the first triangle.
<BAE=<EDC ---> Postulate #5
<AEB=<CED ---> Vertex Angles
Triangle ABE ~ Triangle CED
Because they have two equal angles
