hi my names Jol. i live in syd, aus and i'm new to maths. does anyone know how i work out the area of a rectangle with a half circle at one end. (shaped like a streched D) it has a width of 7.5 and a height of 3.2. i can do circles and rectangles but not this. any help would be great. cheers

Calculate (Area of rectangle) + (Area of half a circle).

Area of circle = pi*r²

Area of rectangle should be easy enough!
