Is there a way to find the height of the segment of a circle if you are only given the radius and the area of the segment?
I had seen this (the link is actually to the formulas for a sector) but the segment formula's state:
A = 1/2 R^2(theta-sin theta)
Which gives me 2*A/R^2=theta -sin theta.
What I'm not sure on is how to solve for theta, from there I can figure out the rest.
