Math Help - Find height of segment given radius and area

1. Find height of segment given radius and area

Is there a way to find the height of the segment of a circle if you are only given the radius and the area of the segment?

3. I had seen this (the link is actually to the formulas for a sector) but the segment formula's state:

A = 1/2 R^2(theta-sin theta)

Which gives me 2*A/R^2=theta -sin theta.

What I'm not sure on is how to solve for theta, from there I can figure out the rest.

4. There is also this.

I am not really sure what or which applies to your question.

5. Sorry that is the link I had seen. Where I'm confused is here:

I have R and I have A how do I solve for theta? From there I can figure out h.
