Have you tried Googling Pythagoras Theorem proof? (Rhetorical question, by the way ....)

There are probably more different proofs of the Pythagorean theorem than any other theorem. As mr. fantastic suggested, google "Pythagorean theorem proof" and take your pick!

(I did just now and the very first hit gives 81 proofs.)
