    Finding the length of a line

    A cardboard of 1m^2 is completely cut into squares of 1mm sides. If they are placed in a line besides each other, what would the length of the line be?

    Thanks in advance!

    Imagine the meter^2 cardboard square is made of 1000 rows and 1000 columns of mm^2 squares.

    There are 1000*1000 of these smaller squares
    So if they are put in a line they are 1000000mm long
    1000000mm = 1000m
