    Analytic Geometry Q4

    Question:
    Find the slope of the line passing through (4,5) and (-8,-3) and find the angle of inclination of the line to the nearest degree.

    Attempt:
    (4,5) (-8,-3)

    m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} = \frac{-3-5}{-8-4} = \frac{-8}{-12} = \frac{2}{3}

    \phi = \tan^{-1}(m)

    \phi = \tan^{-1}\left(\frac{2}{3}\right)

    \phi = 33.7^o

    Is my answer correct?
