i have a math problem where i need to find the area of a scalene triangle. i dont know how to find the area because i dont have the height, i just have the dimensions:330,270 and 240. Help would be much apreciated.

I think you can use the cos rule then sin rule for area of triangle.

cosA = (330^2 + 270^2 - 240^2 )/ (2 * 330 * 270)

Then use the angle value in this.

0.5 * 330 * 270sin(A) = Area of triangle.

Use Heron's formula: if a, b, c are the sides of a triangle let s=(a+b+c)/2,
then the area is:

A=sqrt[s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]
