With what you gave, we can not tell whether one side is a leg, or another is the hypotenuse. Give it a try: if a and b are legs of a right triangle and c is the hypotenuse of the triangle, then $\displaystyle a^2 + b^2 = c^2 $
24^2 + b^2 = 26^2
