Finding all co-ordinates on a given line

    Hello,
    Say for example i have 2 co-ords (3,5) and (5,8).

These co-ordinates are the end-points of a given line.

How can i find all co-ordinates on this line.

My thought on it is to proceed with y=mx+c...wherein i can m--> slope...

    But what about the y-intercept.

what can be the other possible solution

    help appreciated

    Substitute (3,5) and (5,8) into y = mx + c:

    (3, 5): 5 = 3m + c .... (1)

    (5, 8): 8 = 5m + c .... (2)

Solve equations (1) and (2) simultaneously for m and c. Now you have the equation that gives all the other points.
