    geometry prove

    Prove that if D is the midpoint of Line BC and Line FE = Line BD.
    then Line FE = Line DC.

    1. D is the midpoint of Line BC, Line FE = Line BD
    2. FE = BD
    3. BD = DC
    4. FE = DC
    5. Line FE = Line DC

    What is the reason for each step (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

    Here are the answers. which match the steps.

    Transitive property
    Symmetric property
    Definition of midpoint
    Definition of congruent segments
    Addition property
    Reflexive property
    Substitution property

    1.FE=BD given
    2. BD=DC def of midpoint
    3. FE=DC transitive property (step1 and 2)
