    Finding width and length when given area and ratios

    I have a rectangle that is 1m2 and know that the height is 1.5 x the width. How do I calculate the actual height and width???

    This is how I'd try it:
    call width w.

    area is length x width.

    length = 1.5w

    area =  1.5w^2 = 1

     w^2 = \frac{1}{1.5}

     w = \frac{\sqrt{6}}{3}

    Width =  \frac{\sqrt{6}}{3}
    Length =  \frac{\sqrt{6}}{2}
