This is how I'd try it:

call width w.

area is length x width.

length = 1.5w

area = $\displaystyle 1.5w^2 = 1 $

$\displaystyle w^2 = \frac{1}{1.5} $

$\displaystyle w = \frac{\sqrt{6}}{3} $

Width = $\displaystyle \frac{\sqrt{6}}{3} $

Length = $\displaystyle \frac{\sqrt{6}}{2} $
