    Dilation of Constant 5

    What are the coordinates of A', the image of point A(- 2,3) after a dilation of constant 5 with respect to the origin?

    A dilation deals with multiplication (something getting larger or smaller by some constant factor). Simply multiply the coordinates A(-2, 3) by 5 making A'(-10, 15).
