Side of the Triangle
The area of a square is 9. If this square and an equilateral triangle have equal perimeters, find the length of one side of the triangle.

Area of square = 9

$A=s^2$

$9=s^2$

$s=3$ (side of square)

Perimeter of Square = 4(3) = 12

Perimeter of equilateral triangle = 12

P = 3s

12 = 3s

s = 4 (side of triangle)
