    please help urgent

    What is the proper name of the quadrilateral below?
    A. Parallelogram
    B. Triangle
    C. Square
    D. Rectangle

    what is meant by proper name?
    In the option provided parallelogram square and rectangle are all quadrilateral.
    so what it mean byproper name of quadrilateral.
    My answer: rectangle.

    The questions sounds to me like it should have one. The below certainly implies it as it does not usually apply to the multi choice answers. Regular quadilateral would mean square but I am unaware of any definition of proper quadrilateral.

    Can't be B as a triangle is not a quadrilateral.

    Does it have four right angles? Then its a square or rectangle, a square if
    all four sides are equal otherwise a rectangle.

    Does it have opposite sides parallel, but no right angles? then its a parallelogram.

    Note: A square is a rectangle, also a rectangle is a parallelogram.
