My teacher said we have to use this equation, but I'm not sure why or how to apply:

90-m=2(180-m)

Problem:

Angle A is 1/2 it's complement, angle B

Any ideas???

Thanks for any help!

**Angle A is 1/2 it's complement, angle B**

the above statement says A + B = 90 and A = B/2

so ...

(B/2) + B = 90

solve for B, then determine A.

this equation ...

**90 - m = 2(180 - m)**

would not be applicable to the above problem.
