    Isoceles Triangle

    An isoceles triangle has a perimeter of 44 feet.The base is 1 feet long.What is the length of each equal side?

    (a)13 feet
    (b)18 feet
    (c)22 feet
    (d)26 feet.

    The perimeter is the sum of lengths of the sides.
    There are 2 sides of equal length, let's say x.
    The base is 1 feet long.

    Thus x+x+1=44.

    Solve for x... (then, I guess you have to round up your solution)
