What are the formulas for cones and piramides?
This might mix u up, i study in french so i dont really know the terms in english. Don't hesitate to correct me
I have a problem that sounds like this:
1) I have two columns, both similar prisms. The hight of the small column is 40 cm and the surface of it's base is 250cm(squared). The surface of the big column's base is 490cm(squared). What is the volume of the big column???
2) I have two cylinders. The small one has a hight of 20cm and a diameter of 10cm. The total surface of the big cylinder is 4 times bigger than that of the smaller one. What is the volume of the big cylinder?
Thank you for ur help in advance

volume of a cylinder is equal to the area of the base multiplied to its height.
surface area is 2pi r^2 + 2pi rh..
