Thread: Sides of Congruent Triangles

In triangle PWT, angle W is 90 and WN is perpendicular to PT.

a) Prove triangle PWN is is similar to triangle WTN

b) If PN = 4cm, NT = 9cm, find the lengths of WN, WP and WT.

a1) They both have one Right Angle.
a2) The share angle P
a3) The third angle must also be congruent.
a4) Similar!!
