plz help me in Geometery definition
What is the difference b/w the quadrilaterals given in each part below!
(PLz tell me in easy words and in shorter way as <1=<3!)(No)
1:Trapezium and parallelogram
2:Square and Rohumbus
PLz don't forget to draw and name quick sketches

Well, no sketches here.

1) A parallelogram has two sets of parallel sides. A trapezium does not.

2) A rhombus is a quadrilateral with 4 congruent sides (i.e., they all have the same length). A square is a special rhombus (so it has 4 congruent sides) in which every angle is a right angle (i.e., measures 90 degrees).

That's as succinct as it gets, I suppose.

Mathnasium has given a set of valid definitions. Here are equivalent definitions:

1. In a parallelogram opposite angles are equal - in a trapeziums not.

2. A square is a rhombus whose diagonals have equal length.
