    Volume of a Prism = Area of cross section * Height

    Volume of Pyramid = (1/3) * Area of base * Height

    Let the area of the triangle be x.

    Volume of Prism = x * 2

    Volume of Pyramid = (1/3) * x * 5

    Volume of Prism  = 2x<br />

    Volume of Pyramid  = \frac{5x}{3}<br />

    Ratio of volumes:

    <br />
2x : \frac{5x}{3}<br />

    Can you simply that?
