If x & y represent the lengths of the legs then you know that: [tex]\frac{{xy}}{2} = 15\;\& \;x^2 + y^2 = 100[/tex]. Solve for x & y.

Solve for x & y. ok, i just have a question on solving for x and y. which x do i solve for, the one in the first equation? and then where should i plug it in?
