# Math Help - Ellipse and Hyperbola

1. ## Ellipse and Hyperbola

Can anyone teach me about ellipse and hyperbola?
Especially,
$\frac{x^2}{a^2}+\frac{y^2}{b^2}=1$

$\frac{x^2}{a^2}-\frac{y^2}{b^2}=1$
$\frac{y^2}{a^2}-\frac{x^2}{b^2}=1$

what kind of information do you want to know?

see post #2 here

don't get confused. just note that in the forms you asked about, h and k are zero

The grade range is from 1 to 9.
1 is the best.
Grade 1 and 2 are A, called 1A and 2A, 1A is better than 2A.
Grade 3 and 4 are B, called 3B and 4B, 3B is better than 4B.
...
The ascending grade sequence is 9G,8E,7D,6C,5C,4B,3B,2A,1A.

no. we study a lot more. but towards the end of high school we are told to pick subjects that we want to specialize in. Three subjects are mandatory, including math and english, but for the others, you can pretty much do want you want. so a science person would choose science courses and so on. in all, you must do at least 8 subjects
