1. ## [SOLVED] Geometry help needed... a.s.a.p. I'm in tears!

So I'm REALLY bad at explaining... so I took pictures of the problems that I'm well, having problems with! I don't know what else to do, it's three thirty in the morning and I have not been to bed yet, and have been awake since 4 AM YESTERDAY working on this non-stop... and I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT?! Am I just that stupid?!?! ... please please PLEASE help me...

How do I solve these?!

I know it's a lot, but believe me, I've spent SO MUCH TIME on these and I just DON'T GET IT! and if they're not done by March 1st... .... my life is over. and I pay a lot of money... big time.

To answer 1.-3. you need the following formulas:

$a^2 = f \cdot c$ .............. $b^2 = d \cdot c$

$e^2 = f \cdot d$ .............. e = $\frac{a \cdot b}{c}$

to #7:

$\overline{PX} = r = 9 ~\implies~\overline{PY} = 15$

You are dealing with a right triangle:

$\overline{WY} = \sqrt{15^2 - 9^2} = 12$

EDIT: It looks like as if you are living in Germany. If so: Im Anhang finden Sie eine komplette Liste aller Formeln im rechtwinkligen Dreieck (I've attached a list of the formulas concerning a right triangle)

Question 4

The simple answer to this is 20 degrees. Why? Well, this is one of the circle theorems you should have come across called the angles subtended by the same arc theorem. Basically, this means that the angle directly above ACB is the same. This goes for DAC and DBC.

DAC = DBC

----

As for question 5, I'm not too certain what the 100 is referring to so I cannot really help you there.

5. ## Danke!!
