    Need help building a door

Hi... Iím a stay at home mom who works by builds different styles of doors and Iím having a hard time replicating this. I thought the board used was a 1x3 (actual width is 2.5Ē) and the cut i thought was at 45*. My issue is getting the areas thatís are circled to line up. I need it to come to a triangle point again. I was never good with geometry but if you are that would be an amazing help. Using a 1x4 (actual width is 3.5Ē) i was able to get it to come to a point at the right spot BUT It doesnít allow enough room on the sides for 3 rhombus shapes, only 1.5. So it only works in one direction. Hope that makes sense. Open to feed back if any one knows a formula I could use or suggestions! Thanks!

you're relying on rough cut dimensions?

I'd think you'd have to work the thing out on paper, gen a cut list, and probably have to hand plane your pieces to exact size.
