1. ## Just started Vectors, could someone look over these four questions I did?

I apologize if this post isn't allowed, I'm doing an online Math class and the last Unit is Vectors. I have never done vectors before, and the online class Tutors/Helpers they provide are on holiday this month so I don't really have any help or guidance. I just wanna make sure that everything I'm doing is right so I don't mess up when I get further into the Unit.

Heres a link to the questions and my answers for all of them,

The one I think I did wrong was question 49, in the lesson they gave to ways to draw the resultant, one of them ways to completely re-draw the shape but the other was to draw a line from b to a. I don't understand how that is the same thing so I'm not sure if any of 49 is right.

47. Is there something missing? you get a velocity vector from a position vector?

the vector shown is 75 m, 70 degrees N of W, or N 20deg W

48. not the diagram for 47 ... N 70deg W is a 70 deg angle between N and the vector

49. your solution for #49 is ok

50. $R_x = -60\cos(18)-45\cos(50)$

$R_y = 60\sin(18)-45\sin(50)$

$|R| = \sqrt{R_x^2+R_y^2} \approx 87.5 \, m$

$\theta = 180 + \arctan\left(\dfrac{R_y}{R_x}\right) \approx 190.5^\circ$
