    What geometric shape is the image of |3x-2|=<0 on coordinate axis?

    According to me it is a point.

    we get x<= or >=2/3.

    A teacher says it is a half line.

    Re: analytic

    You are correct. |a| can never be negative so |a|<= 0 is simply |a|= 0 which means a=0. Here a= 3x- 2= 0 so x= 2/3.

    3x- 2<= 0, without the absolute value, would be x<= 2/3, a half line.
