    Prove radius is perpendicualr bisector of a chord

    Hey everyody im having a hard time with this question can anyone help me out?

    1) Prove Analytically that a radius drawn perpendicular to a chord of a circe bisects that chord....thanks in advance

    Draw the two line segments from the center to the ends of the chord.
    You should now see two congruent right triangles.
    From there see that the chord is bisected.
