your idea is correct and the diagonal of the smaller rectangle is smaller than the height of the larger so it can rotate.
There is a bigger rectangle dimensions are as below:
Width: 235.00 cm
Height: 270.00 cm
Now there is a smaller rectangle which is diagonally inside bigger rectangle (above rectangle), dimensions of smaller rectangle is as below:
Width: 33.00 cm
Height: 258.00 cm
My question is the smaller rectangle inside bigger rectangle can rotate in such a way that it becomes perpendicular (stay in straight)? If yes so how we can calculate that it is possible to rotate or not? I think by calculating diagonal of smaller rectangle if it is less than height of bigger rectangle then it can rotate and stand straight.
Sorry if I'm being annoyed or not explaining my question.....
Looking forward for your kind replies.
Thanks for your kind reply!! Now I've another question
What if the smaller triangle is placed diagonally in such a way that it base creates a right angle triangle base of smaller triangle which will be width of triangle (33 cm) is placed in such a way a right angle triangle is created. I need to know what will be the length of other two sides? I've attached a diagram example for understanding.
I noticed you were an MHF Helper. Could you please tell me where I can practice my formatting BEFORE I post. I wish to get it right before I commit it to your database. Am I missing a way to
Preview Formatting before posting?
It is probably best not to intervene in someone else's thread with a completely off-topic post. Anyway, you can get a "preview" button if you hit "go advanced" first. This might have been better posted under LaTex.
I have found that if you hit "edit" on a post you have already posted, when you go to submit your edit of a post with LaTeX in it, you have to hit "go advanced" before hitting "submit" or the edit comes out wrong. Unfortunately I have also found that the preview feature does not work for me when in edit mode.
