Where they intersect, $\displaystyle y= x^4= 7x^2- 10$ which is equivalent to $\displaystyle x^4- 7x^2+ 10= 0$. If you let $\displaystyle u= x^2$ that becomes the quadratic equation $\displaystyle u^2- 7u+ 10= 0$. So it is easy to solve for the values of x.
