This is more of a technical question that I'm hoping some of you might have an answer for.
I'm trying to use the distance formula in math, but I can't seem to get the square root sign to extend all the way across an equation that I'm writing.
MN = sqrt(4 - (-0.5))^2 + (1 - 1.5)^2
I can only get the square root sign to extend across the first half of the equation up until the + sign, and I need to get the square root sign to extend all the way across the entire equation.
Any help would be most appreciated.
