Hi all,

The problem is based on the diagram ....please kindly Check the diagram .Which is provided as attachement...
The Problem is :

The diameter AB and the tangent at point P to the circle meet at point Q when extended at an angle of 30 degress .

Than half the area of semi circle is greater or area of triangle OPQ is greater.

What is the question?

Are you asked to prove that half the area of the circle is less than the area
of triangle OPQ?

Half the area of the circle is $\pi (OP)^2 /2$, and the area of the triangle is $\sqrt{3} (OP)^2$ (since this is a 30-60-90 degree triangle). and $\pi/2<\sqrt{3}$.
