Hello, really stuck on this problem, any help welcome

AB is parallel to CD, this distance between them is X

The square has side length X

Prove that the angle shown on the diagram is 45 degrees

I could be wrong, but it seems to me the angle marked in the diagram depends on the angle of rotation of the square.

it does not unfortunately, provided that a bit of the square is above and below the line then this will always be true
