Find the equation of a circle in radius center form with
center at (-3,-5) and tangent to the y- axis.


im so confused with how the problem has stated on the centers. i can hardly understand the problem. please help.

now ... what is the distance from (-3,-5) to the y-axis?

i got it...

(x + 3)^2 + (y + 5) = 9
