$\displaystyle (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2 = r^2$ where the circle is centered at $\displaystyle (h,k)$ and $\displaystyle r$ is the radius. now ... what is the distance from (-3,-5) to the y-axis?
i got it... (x + 3)^2 + (y + 5) = 9 thanks
