    Chords

Do chords have to be line segments? And if so, are the endpoints on the circumference of the circle? I'm asking this b/c for a problem I'm given that EF and GH are chords of a circle. I have coords for F and G so I'm thinking that i connect those to make another chord.

Yes, a chord is a line segment with endpoints on the circumference of the circle. If you can give more details on the problem, perhaps we can help more.
