difference of two supplementary angles
The difference between two supplementary angles of 340. Find the
bigger angle.

attempt:

i thought of representing 180 - x be the supplement .. but how about the second supplement :(

if i made two same representations then i will be zero since it is difference of two supplementary angles.

I like your thinking, we let the two angles be x and 180 - x. We also know that their difference is \displaystyle \begin{align*} 34^{\circ} \end{align*}, so \displaystyle \begin{align*} 180 - x - x = 34 \end{align*}. Simplify and solve for x.
