air problem
How much air is enclosed in a tent with a rectangular base 4m by 2.7m
if the height is 5m?

the problem above has an answer from the book that has no solution shown and its answer is 18m^3...
but my answer is 54m^3 since l x w x h = formula of volume

You assumed that the tent is a rectangular "box".
If that were true, they could have described a room with those dimensions.
Why mention a "tent"?

I assumed it was a "traditional" tent shape.
Code:

```                  *               *    \           *        \         /:\        \         / :5\        *       /  :  \    *       * - - - *    4         2.7```
But I got a different answer.
The only way that the volume could be 18 m3
. . is if the tent is a pyramid with a rectangular base.
It should have stated the shape of the tent.
thanks you soroban.. you are right ... the shape should have been mentioned.... that is why im confused of the problem
thanks a lot .. at least i already knew what this problem leads us the shape of the tent
But solving it with your sketch soroban it goes like
triangular prism then the answer is not 18 cm^3.. it is 27 cm^3
